NWF Leasing provides various sizes of Construction Hoists and Material Hoists/Personnel Hoists for industrial and construction applications throughout the Southeast US. We use Alimak (registered) products and materials for all our construction projects.
NWF Leasing provides complete installation and disassembly for all our construction hoists. We offer hoists for material, personnel, or construction up to 6,200 lbs.
NWF Leasing has full fabrication on-site to customize the elevator to your high-rise construction needs. NWF has both single and dual-car options available. We can provide turnkey solutions, including arranging for the crane for installation, dismantling and jumps, constructing the landing platform, installing gates on the landing, wing walls as necessary, and a trash chute as desired.
Safety is our #1 concern. We have all the appropriate licenses; a top-rated insurance carrier insures us. We hold Mechanic, General Contractor, and Elevator licenses in multiple states. All our elevators conform to the ANSI/ASSE A10.4 Code. We are also the only Rack and Pinion Construction Hoist company with a Certificate of Competency in Florida.
Buck Hoists are also known as temporary elevators, personnel hoists, or construction hoists/construction elevators. Our hoists use a rack-and-pinion operation system that allows precise travel control between the tower sections/floors, allowing personnel or materials to easily reach the areas/floors needed. There is no bucking or quick starts and stops, just a smooth ride.

Alimak Scando Construction Hoists
Alimak Scando FC 28/37 TD is a construction hoist with a maximum pay-load capacity of 6,200 pounds. Maximum speed of 157 feet per minute and a maximum lifting height of 490 feet.
The cage of the FC 28/37 TD has an internal width and length of 4’ 11” by 12’ 1 ¾” and an internal height of 7’ ¾”. The two standard door openings are 4’ 10 ¾” by 6’ ¾”
Alimak Scando 27/37 C is a construction hoist with a maximum pay-load capacity of 6,000 pounds. Maximum speed of 150 feet per minute and a maximum lifting height of 980 feet.
The cage of the 27/37 C has an internal width and length of 4’ 11 3/16” by 12’ 1 21/32” and an internal height of 8’ 6 23/64”. The standard door openings are 4’ 10 17/64” by 6’ 6 47/64”.
Alimak Scando 18/30 is a construction hoist with a maximum pay-load capacity of 4,000 pounds. Maximum speed of 150 feet per minute and a maximum lifting height of 500 feet.
The cage of the 18/30 has an internal width and length of 4’ 3 13/64” by 9’ 10” and an internal height of 7’ 21/32”. The standard door openings are 4’ 10 21/32” by 6’ 47/64”.
Alimak Scando 20/30 TD is a construction hoist with a maximum pay-load capacity of 4,400 pounds. Maximum speed of 131 feet per minute and a maximum lifting height of 492 feet.
The cage of the FC 20/30 TD has an internal width and length of 4’ 3 3/16” by 9’ 10 7/64” and an internal height of 8’ 4 25/64”. The standard door openings are 4’ 27/64” by 6’ 6 47/64”.
Process to prepare elevators for deployment:
After a project is completed, all of our elevators are returned to our full-service facility where they are thoroughly inspected and refreshed by our trained technicians before being assigned to the next job site. That includes sandblasting and painting the elevator, replacing any worn parts as necessary, testing the motors and drives and updating as necessary, and running the elevator through a series of checks to ensure that it is ready to be redeployed. We also use a plug and play system for all of our key components, so if for some reason there is a replacement needed in the field it can easily be swapped out minimizing elevator down time.
